I usually prefer a Pax gent's saw (xcut) I've had for a long time. It tracks fine, doesn't clog, it's more than fast enough. If I feel the need for speed I simply grab a Stanley gent's saw/dovetail saw. Yep, the P.O.S. you can buy at Lowe's. It's filed xcut, but has fewer teeth per inch than the Pax. It cost $7. I can cut as flawless a set of dovetails with it as with anything I ever used. I end up using the Pax most often because the handle is more comfortable.

Zona makes a saw for less than $20 bucks that does a great job too.

>Hi Guys

I recently bought the cross cut dovetail saw to go with my rip L-N. Both saws are fantastic, but the crosscut is a dream! I am cutting skinny pinned DT's like never before.

Worth every penny,

Cheers
