>Hi Chad -

You can try here - excellent quality, though most sizes may be a bit on the small side....

They do have a logo up to 3/4" diameter....

Cheers -

they made mine and it's pretty nice but at a price tag of 350.00 it was sure not cheap.

myself woodburning may be the way to go since you can only use the stamp on endgrain.

if you just want a name you can get a letter holder and letters to do it from www.msc.com

Mazzaglia Tools *LINK*

>I got my stamp from Mazzaglia Tools. Scott Post's page shows his stamps and the contact info. Mazzaglia Tools also sells blade blanks for molding planes though I haven't ordered any. They have a web page though it doesn't show the makers marks or blade blanks: http://www.geocities.com/mazzaglia_tools/

no affiliation other than a happy maker's mark customer.

>I bought my Chester Toolworks makers mark stamp from Harper Mfg in Las Vegas. The price was reasonable, the quality was good, but it took them almost 8 weeks to deliver on a 4 week promise. If you have the time, they do good work.

>Hi Doug-

The stamp I had made was a steel stamp with a body 3/8" x 1/2" x 3 1/2" long. The logo is an acorn with the letters CTW inside standing for Chester Tool Works. The actual impression it makes is 1/4" x 3/8". I'm very satisfied with the quality and the performance of this stamp which has already made impressions on about 150 steel marking knife blanks and about 32 ash plane adjusting hammer handles. Harper will work from any artwork you send them. I just did a drawing in Microsoft Paint and sent it to them. The stamp only cost me about $130 including shipping. Anything custom they will send you a quote for.
