>Dang, what a fool I feel now. Apparently Bob and Todd have a friendly enough repoir with each other that Bob felt comfortable enough to take a "Jab" at Todd with the Whining comment. Silly me. There are a few folks running around the Island that I like to take a jab at every chance I can as well.

Yeah Bob, seems that some stuff has changed. Watched the tail end of a documentary type show about the Modern Infanty, and holy smokes if thay didn't have some nifty gizmos and gadgets that I'd never of dreamed of. Downside is that it adds more weight to the Soldiers back, but from what I understand they don't hike and march as much as we used too. Wish I had seen the whole show.
I remember the first time my Drill Sgt. told me to drop 'til he got tired, I was thinking as I was pushing, "How in the he11 is HE gonna get tired"? I can tell you some funny stories about the things that went thru my head whilst in Army bootcamp. I remember when SFC Bates introduced us to SSGT Hilderbrand, he said, "I'd like you to meet my partner, he has the same first name as me which is "Sargent", and I was thinking what a cowincidence, they have the same first name. Was in bootcamp several weeks before I fiqured it out.
