the good life

Moses Yoder in White Pigeon, MI

>I don't make a pile of money every day, but I sure am living the good life and feel pretty fortunate. I've been married to the one and only love of my life for over 14 years now, and have a 12 year old and 8 year old daughters that are the best. This morning the alarm sounded, and of course I have it set across the room so I have to get out of bed to shut it off, and as I crawled back into bed started thinking about going in to work and what needed to be done today at work and how we could make more furniture faster with less waste which is pretty much on the boss's mind all the time. Then as I lay there in bed I realized I don't have to go in to work today, and in fact have a week of vacation and am going up north tomorrow and today we are going to the swap meet out in the middle of nowhere where all the tools and animals are at. The thought of all those tools I'm going to be looking at today and not having to go in to work kind of gave me a warm fuzzy feeling that is out of this world.

>Yeah Moses, Sounds like all is wel with you. I'm happy for you, and I'm happiere that you have the good sense to realize that you have it good. Some folks are just never satisfied. They could make millions of dollars per year, live in mansions, drive luxury automobiles, etc, etc, etc, and yet be miserable, lonely, and in gereral just feel unhappy and empty. Coarse, I have no first hand knowlwdge of this fact. :~(

Yessir, a smart man gives Thanks for the blessings in his life, and fully understands that it's the small blessings that are the best. You sound like a smart fellow to me Moses.
