Lee Valley Plywood Saw the Best?

>Some time ago, the LV Japanese plywood saw was suggested as a good choice for hand-sawing plywood.

Is this still the best choice?

An enthusiatic Bobcat driver broke the power line to my shop, and I was wishing I had a suitable hand saw for cutting plywood yesterday.

>Hard for most anyone to say it is the best....you'd have to have tried every other possibility.

It is fine.....though the HSS saw they sell will work fine too.

I love mine!

>I've got one of these saws and cannot say enough good things about it. I've used it for plywood and general cut-off tasks around the shop. I've even used it for dovetails when my DT saw wouldn't cut deep enough. It's a great general purpose saw and I highly recommend it.

>Hi,

The plywood saw is the best I could find! I've tried all kinds of panel saw, and the japanese plywood saw is far superior. I use mine almost exclusively for plywood but it can be a a good all-around pull saw.
