>What? it's the weekend all ready? any way I don't have a clue. I have the island bar thing going and I still need to do about 6 drawers for the bench. so they are high on the list. The drawer boxes still need some sort of finish on them so I think I will give them a final scraping and a coat or two of BLO I don't know if I will finish that up in the future with some witches brew of just leave them as is? I haulled a large load of extra crap up the the auction house to be sold tomarrow afternoon all of it choice treasures. I don't realy feal like rust hunting this weekend so somthing might get done who knows? Every One Play Safe and HAVE A ROCKIN GOOD WEEKEND!!!

>Non Woodworking: Parents are coming for a visit and starting the landscaping. Have a great design and a lot of work.

Woodworking related: Dad is bringing some nice clear spruce that has been air drying in the barn loft for 10 years. Plan on using it for a new bench frame later this year. The spruce is from the family farm.

Plan on hitting a flea market in Quebec that I have never been to before. Hopefully it is far enough away that there will be some rust without many competitors.

Plan on planing some cherry for some panel for the drysink too if I can find the time.

Have a great one!

>According to the weatherman it is going to be a wet weekend, so looks like like no rust hunting for me, which is fine as the tool budget is real low.

I'm thinking that on Saturday I'll:

-Zap a #7 and see if I can salvage it. It had been broken some time in it's life right at the mouth and brazed back together. Also has a missing lateral adjuster, but that's not a major problem.

-Install some shelves in my newly made and hung plane cabinet. It's nothing special, just 2x4's and plywood, but at this point I'm going for Function over Form.

-Install some doors on a little sheet push cart that I've slowing been turning into a rolling zapping center/tool cabinet.

Sunday:

-Finish up what I didn't get done on Saturday

- Get back to work on a grinding rig that I started a few months ago. I need to mouth the grinder, mount the motor, and make the slides for the oversized tool rest that I made.
