And no i didn't bid on the galoot hat.

>That is better than me I got woke up this morning to find out I got sniped on a nice infill that closed at 4:00 am here I'm going to have to get with an European to work with me on these things. Tires can be fixed but a missed auction is over.

If you got sniped - it's 'cause you didn't put in what you were willing to pay in the first place...

Happens to me too... :)

>I'm kinda new to buying on ebay I kinda did put in what I wanted to pay but would have gone higher if given the opertunity. the other person put in there bid with enought time for me to up my bid but I was in slumber land. I put in a bid high enough to find the reserve and then whai I wanted to pay but some times at auctions people pay more than they want because they want the item

>Carp(koi) are held in high esteem. They are integrated into many meditation gardens.Asians believe these fish serve as guides to a person`s dreams and some fish go for very high prices.

So when someone calls you a bottom feeder, just say thanks. You might also ask if they are in need of a guide.

Mainely,Bob-Who`s been called a "crow" more than once.

>Ernie,

LFOD auctions are not for the feint of heart nor light of pocketbook. Just got back. the fun part is the parking lot tailgaters. Deals to be found if you don't mind getting your hands dity...or ,this year, if you don't mind getting soaked to the skin. Thursday was mostly early dealers setting up, and I got a space next to Roger Smith...beautiful warm day and lots of tools and great people (got to meet Sandy Moss and Patrick Leach) Friday was a downpour from 5am through...no rain gear but I made the rounds of the more adventerous dealers and found some great bargains...and no, Rob, I never did find Doug with that prototype..spent a bundle, got some scrapers for myself and picked up some things for galoot friends. Today met Tony Murland and saw some of the finest examples of British woodworking tools. All in all a great time; with good tools and more important great people!...Oh, Ernie I sent out your package on friday..Got a half ton of stuff to clean now...
