>Hmmm...love the Rendevouz, but boy do I hate having to go down there to get it. Specially now with the baseball stadium and the FedEx Forum going up, its a mess. Haven't been to the Rendevouz in quite a while. I use their powder as part of my bbq concoctions.
Sounds like we have a lot in common, I avoid malls at all costs and do appreciate the hum of the ac fan in my shop to the sound of other people! We visited Boston and did the tourist thing for a couple of days and I could not wait to get out of there! We headed west into the countryside and had a nice fall week up there. I attended a class at Phil Lowe's place in Beverly and stayed in Marblehead - that was neat. The wife is in NYC this week....definitely not my kind of place. She's bound to drag me up there someday though.

>Yep, there are some great BBQ joints 'ropund here and we all have our favorites. I get my shoulder at a place in Bartlett called Brad's. Its a little place that you'd miss driving by...except when they are smoking! I buy a couple of pounds and freeze it so I can pull out enough for a meal once or twice a week. Now I'm hungry again....Oh, the BBQ spaghetti at Interstate and their nephew's place is pretty good stuff too. And a fe places make a mean bbq pizza (Boscos on the square maybe?)
