Yankee screwdriver question

Tim Caley - North Little Rock

>Are any bits supposed to come with a Stanley 130A Yankee screwdriver? I picked one up at an estate sale today real cheap, but there were no bits with it. I was just wondering if I should go back and look for them.

>Well it does work better if it has a bit in it, eh?.... When it was sold it came with 3 bits of different widths that were in a small envolope in the box. Most of these screwdrivers when you find them in the wild only have the bit that is in it. Loose bits are very common to find though and I have found them still in the paper envolope on occasion......Todd

>This is the first one of these that I have seen, and I thought the bits were stored in the handle like a Yankee push drill. Did the bits have any special notches or other locking aides? How would I identify the bits that are supposed to be with it?

>I looked there. I found all the parts for a Yankee except for the bits. In the text description of the page it says "bits for Yankee", but I couldn't find them.
