You can probably get a decent ball park price just by posting here.

We'll need a full screen shot of the chest, including the interior and corner joinery.

Line the wooden planes-up and shoot the fronts as a group, this will help identify the profiles.

Look on the front end of all the woodies, there will be a name/logo stamped in the end grain, that will be the key to value for most of them.

Post the info from the front ends of the planes.

The unhandled plow in front (the plane w/the knobs and threads) may require its' own shot to guage condition.

Any provenance on the items?(ie; any good story or history regarding them?)

I don't see any of the other tools that ought to be in a semi-complete chest of tools. Is there any other miscellania? Sometimes the little bits are where the money is.

I'll try to post some photos of the "sea chest" also.

The tools and chest came from my grandfather, who got the tools for payment for some work he did on someone's boat. The chest is pre civil war, but the tools I am not sure about. There are also many saws, drill bits, etc. in the chest.

Thanks for any info. I'll send more pics

>If this trunk is complete how about an inventory of the contents with some pictures of the inside? I am mostly interested in it as a referance as to what tools were carried. Thanks
