>I started building a collection of smaler scale tools for my daughter Grace. I may be getting ahead of myself since shes only 8 months old but...

I've seen lots of kid sized saws but they were all crappy, so I made this one. Its 14" long, 10 tpi. Now Gracie has her own Disston No. 12. Extra refined London Spring Steel, nothing but the best for my little girl. Started it about 4 months ago and didn't have any saw nuts. Every saw I bought to steal the nuts from turned into a user!

>Nice saw Angelo, I'm sure that Gracie will love it. Good way to salvage a damaged good old saw too! If you need a place to store it for a few years, I have a nice saw box with a few extra slots. ;~)

>I'm already planning a workbench for her. Scaled down to fit next to mine. Its sad that I have 2 stepchildren, whom I love dearly, (17 and 14) who have no interest in woodworking at all. Ah well, if not Grace, maybe the grandchildren.....
