>Angelo, you're not that far away...Elephant's trunk is pretty good for tools, but you gotta get up there early. There's usually 2 dedicated tool dealers and various and sundry junk dealers with stuff. The dealers tend to sweep the area way early(5am)Danbury is one of Connecticuts more prosperous areas..so prices will be more than Stormville. It's supposed to open up soon..maybe I'l see you there. For a little side trip, head up rt 7 to the Stanley Museum..Cornwall Bridge Conn..along the way there are a few Antik shops...

>No, Angelo. I do 6 days a week in my store..Sundays are the only day I get to enjoy myself...I used to sell at the fleas but now I'd rather go and "browse"...'course I'm an early morning person. Hey, did you ever get all the parts for that 78..had to be months now..maybe a year..

>Sure did. I ended up using the parts for the Stanley on the Craftsman(had the blade adjusting lever, Stanley didn't.) Screw sizes were all different though. I "made" a screw for the nicker from an electrical outlet terminal screw, Found a thumbscrew for the depth stop, and took the 9/32 shaft from an old screwdriver and threaded the end to 1/4" x 20 for the fence rod.

Used it the other day on a box bottom and it worked really nice.

>Angelo,

The Elephant's Trunk Flea market on Sunday mornings is just about the best one I can think of! My wife and I usually try to get there at least 2 times a year, and we really enjoy it. Almost as good as the Columbus Flea market in NJ on a Thursday morning! Actually, they are both very good!

Enjoy!
