Interesting "Yankee" Driver

>Picked this up at a barn sale this morning, along with a coupla of beater saws (for parts).

I've never seen a driver with a handle like this, its kinda cool, and feels really nice in my hand. Works well. Its from Wards, marked only "MASTER QUALITY" 11 inches closed, 16 or so open.

>Jay, It seems to be easier on the palm to push, and have a little more leverage when the driver isn't racheting. Must be some reason they never caught on, maybe once I drive a couple more screws I'll figure it out.

>I have one of these made by Millers Falls and it has a big flat screwdriver blade. I don't know if the blade in mind is removable or not, I haven't found a way to do it. It will generate a lot of torque on big screws.
