Anyone need a new bench? *LINK*

Sandor in Boyds, MD

>I'm suprised there were no bidders with that low starting price ($4750.00) and the seller's huge volume (0) of positive feedback....

It would be a very nice bench to have, but its a tad on the expensive side for me.

Does it look like the stile and railes were rounded over with a router? You can see this in the eBay pics...Interesting for a 100 yr old bench...

Sandor (still gonna make my dream bench once I get that round tuit)

If you'll like that, I gotta deal for ya..

>This is an example of a late 20th century assembly table. My wife's latest appraisal of this item was "get that piece of crap out of our garage." I would like to draw your attention to the columbia vise mounted on the front, what workmanship, that alone is worth $5.00. Don't be disuaded by the paint, stain, and blobs of dried glue these are simply patina. It weighs an impressive 75 pounds. Let us start the bidding at an even two thousand dollars. I will not be able to ship this item.

P.S. The rat is NOT included.

>Wow. A turn of the century assembly table.

I particularly like the gray patina on the leg assembly. Is that "Lonnie gray?"

>Interesting that the frame-and-panel doors on this 100-year-old bench look like they were built with an electric router! Mmm?
