>Hi, posted this on the noisy side, but figured some of my hand tool brethren may have an answer.

I have some oak veneer plywood that LOML's cousin gave me a few years ago. There are water stains on some of the pieces (they came pre-cut for a project that he never finished) and now that I want to use them I'm wondering how to get rid of the stains? I might add the water stains are from slush melting off the cars in the garage, so the stains are kinda' dirty

Steven.

I'd brush off as much dirt as possible, flood water on both sides of the plywood, remove water with clean rags, let it dry with both faces exposed to the air. If the stains remain, try a more aggressive treatment.
