>I have seen a lot of beautiful period pieces over the years in books and museums. Yours is right up there. Magnificent!
Gee, Paul...

>I don't know the record for the number of times a post has been viewed, but this one is the first I have noticed exceeding 1,000.
I'm delighted so many have had the opportunity to see this great piece. Thanks for posting. You absolutely must submit something for Shop Shots. Or if you're up to an article describing construction techniques, even better.
Best, Ted

>Paul,
That's good! That's really, really good! Words are failing me. I can only echo everyone else's more elequent praises. You did good!
Big difference from the 'in process' condition it was in when you brought it to the meeting. Now, if the rough chest looked so much better than their 'progress pics', I can't imagine how much better 'IT' will be. These pics just make me stare . . .
The only question I have is . . . Is Janice really going to let that out of her sight, let alone let you take it to a future meeting? (I'm assuming that it's 'too new' for next weeks meeting, it would be for LOML even with me signing all the release forms ;~)
It's a good thing Dave Anderson said "Go look", I've been too busy and away too long. (thanks Dave) Thanks for sharing this Paul.
Raymond
ps to Janice - The cakes you send in with Paul are really delicious and much appreciated. Thank you. But why are they always about 1/3 eaten?
Sorry, replied to the wrong message (Doh!)

>I know I saw a reference to that meeting but can't remember--again, when and where (what city) is it? I'll be going over to NJ within a weekend or two to see Bob Marino and perhaps could coordinate.

>The CJWA meeting is in Marlboro, NJ, on Wednesday evening, January 14. Ben and Doug will also be on Lon Giland, and in the DC area during the same week, doing Woodworking Club presentations. Ben may have more info on the DC area meeting, which Doug said was on Sunday evening, January 18.

>Hi Paul,
This chest is really a work of art. Exquisite! Your skill and hard work really show through...Is there anything that you cannot build?
You've mentioned that every once in a while you start a project that tests your abilities. You should be very proud of your accomplishment here...
I'd like to share this link with some of my friends and co-workers if that's OK with you...talk to you soon...Steve

Have fun .Janice Dzioba
