Re: Prescription Work Glasses
I used to buy off-the-shelf safety glasses and those that I really liked, I would have the lenses replaced w/prescription lenses. So many times glasses look nice, feel OK, but then after wearing them for long periods, they pinch behind the ears, slide down your nose, fog up, and so on. I do the same with sunglasses.
As far as online, Zenni probably has the best prices, if you don't mind waiting a few weeks.

Re: Prescription Work Glasses
A bit more expensive than I would have liked, but the optics are quite good on the pair I purchased from this company: CA Glasses I bought the polycarbonate lenses because there is a problem with CA glue spatter at work. They work fantastic, dried glue pops right off with no scratching.
Re: Prescription Work Glasses
Have you checked with your optometrist who did your exam and prescription? I order my prescription safety glasses from my optometrist. There is no doubt about the prescription being correct plus I am able to try the frames on before purchasing and get them fitted as well. The frames, lenses and side meet the Z87 standard.
