Bosch router stopped working Questions

I have a Bosch 1617 EVS router mounted in a lift in the wing on my TS.  Been there a couple of years with light use and no problems.  I was trying to route a big cove with a core box bit and it stopped.  Fairly heavy cut about six feet long.  I looked for a reset button, nope.  Did not seem hot.  I blew it out with compressed air and after about thirty minutes it went back to work.  A day or two later I changed to a round over bit and nothing.  Fiddled and blew it out, nothing.

Any suggestions?  Where to start?

( tried various outlets and other tools to prove the power was on.  Switched to a backup router and got the job done)

Check the brushes.

It's been my experience that the potentiometer is full or dust, the wiper in the pot has arced and is making poor contact, or something fried on the control board.
