Need jointer or planer blades

Our local industrial grinding shop has closed and I had to search for a local shop. No luck yet, and I found that shipping one set of blades was going to make sharpening expensive. So went searching for a couple more sets of blades and found a great sale on Freud blades at a store I had never heard of. Ordered one day, got a shipping notice the next day. Had the same thing happen to me, Dick. Sharp shop packed up and gone.  Was able to use a friend's Tormak a couple of times but ultimately chose to replace both cutter heads with Byrd stuff.


 

If anyone here needs some Delta 6" jointer or JET 13" planer blades, email me and pay the mail charges.

How is the finish grinding on them? Will they need some extra honing before they go in the head?

Used blades make wonderful scraper blades for turning.  If you have one or 2 I would love to get them shipped to me. I will pay shipping and your fee. Philip

Sorry Philip, but I bought some new blades so I can send several sets to be sharpened and then I won't feel so bad about the cost of shipping just one set.
