Problem with "Preview"

I just had a problem posting a response to another thread. When I tried to preview my response and make a couple corrections, it would add a second version of the response in the message block

And, when I wanted to put thus post in "Feedback", I couldn't find a way to post anything in feedback. Seems like the site still has a few quirks.

The Feedback forum only allows creating replies and not new threads. The concept was to select an appropriate thread, then reply with feedback under it to keep things organized. The forum index page has a description of this, but it's in a small font and probably easy to miss. I'll see if I can modify things to make this more obvious.
