Hopefully, somebody who knows what they are doing will come along with a much better answer. What is below is just from my poking around, I've never done it for real!!!

Not going to be much help but look for a symbol such as > beside the box you enter your message. It may open with a couple of camera icons for pictures or creating video and also a + (or something). Tap the + and it will bring up other apps you can attach info from. Unfortunately, you may have to put your text into one of those apps.

You could make a photo of your text and use the jpg or put it on a sharing service like Dropbox, OneDrive, etc and just sent a link.

On my Samsung Galaxy phone running Android 8.1.0 in Samsung the  messaging app:

Open messaging

Touch the three dots in the upper right

Select settings

Select Quick Responses

Enter your message ( you can have several messages)

Then when you want to use a quick message.  Tap the three dots on the message compose screen when viewing that person or group message.  Again select Quick messages and tap the message you wish to use from the pop up window.

You can also use the clipboard feature in your phone.  The clipboard will save a number of your previous texts that you copied and pasted.  Ypu can select any one of those to paste in the new message.  Simply press on the message copse area and a small window for PASTE CLIPBOARD will open touch clipboard and then scroll through the items in the clipboardselect the message you want to use by tapping on it.

Text yourself the templates and when you need them, copy and paste. 

This is independent of the text messaging app you're using.
