Sushi Sets

I thought I’d share some of my latest work. Sushi sets, padauk plates and claro walnut platter. All finished with tung oil.

Elegant.
Interesting optical illusion on the right pair of chopsticks in the first pic: They look like you forgot to taper them, until you compare them with the other pair.
I can just make out feet under the padauk plates. How did you shape and join them?

Hi William,
I made the legs from padauk as well, roughly 5/8”’wide. I chamfered the ends and created a slight cove shape it all fits nicely into a shallow dado grove.
Not sure why the image shows upside down, well now you can see under the top I guess 😎👍
