What wouldn't you replace?
In response to Mark's comment on my previous post, it got me thinking about tools I have that I would not replace. Maybe I don't have the right application, maybe I never learned to use them properly, maybe they I bought poor quality. Here is my list;
Makita hand held planer- any time I use it wood butchery results
MIG welder- I learned on stick and I can still weld better with stick
Freud biscuit joiner- I may be old fashioned, I have reverted back to dowels
Drill press mortising attachment- I only had to use it once before I went out and bought a good dedicated mortiser
3/4" socket set- I no longer have big enough equipment to require this set.
10" bandsaw- I thought it might fill a gap between my 16" HD bandsaw and my scroll saw, I was wrong
These are what comes to mind, what would you people not replace if it broke, burned, was stolen etc.?
