Indeed!  Also being a threat

to family or anyone close to you. Indirect impact on first responders, nurses and clinicians who may already be burnt out in lots of places.

I would have cited these, but kept the words sparse, to emphasize to Buck the stark choice—no-virus vaccine versus live-virus contagion.

It’s a no-brainer.

Thanks, Wiley

Johanna, when

someone makes that kind of comment, they’re telling us about themselves.

""A lot of the most violently pro vaccine crowd are pretty happy to see the old off."

Tom D, that was a terrible thing to say. I am 80 and pro vaccine. My partner is 87 and also pro vaccine. No younger people I know would ever, ever wish death on the elderly. "

I didn't say they would wish death on the elderly. I said "pretty happy to see the old off" That does not imply they would kill them. I would think Cuomo is a good example. Loved mandates, dumped infected people in old age homes. The rail he rode out of town had nothing to do with killing a lot of old people.

I get tired listening to people talking about how COVID mainly kills the old, and they are near average lifespan, what's the biggie. Apparently people don't know the difference between lifespan, and life expectancy. Average life span somewhere is 78 years, life expectancy at 78 is 12 years, kinda deal.

But sure, nobody wants to see that old neighbor leave the building, but.. well, maybe the apartment will become available. Drop that in the current culture war, with decades of progressive anti boomer hate speech. You can find more than a few progressives who hate the old and love the power of mandates.

Re: shots  it is all about the sex clubs

Makes sense at 80, the likelihood a problem will show up that is worse than COVID, particularly if one lives in or is headed for an institutional setting, makes it an easy decision.

On the other hand my 15 year old daughter is in a very different situation when the effects on reproductive health have not been sorted, the studies are not complete; there are hundreds of thousands of adverse reported effects between VAERS and the UK reporting system on periods alone. We live on a 125 acre farm, she goes to school online, and we only leave to go to the grocery store, or the hardware. And we live in a province with a population over 700K and currently less than 50 active cases. We are less risk than the average vaccinated persons who think they can't pass on the disease, or drive variants, but dang are they virtuous. Ontario (my winter home), just issued a vaccine passport lite system, and you need that thing, and I kid you not, if you want to go to sex clubs. I didn't know that was the driver for you vaccine people!

Not to mention the sex clubs...

But 100% can't happen, so a vaccine strategy has that baked in. I know in my province they estimate the kids alone are 11%, and there are lots of people who can't tolerate it. In the US, when the court cases pick up steam, anyone can claim a religious exemption, and contrary to what some might prefer, the establishment of religion clause means that right is self defined, you can't ask for letters or affiliations.
