Removing glue from nylon strap????

I have several nylon strap clamps that have gotten glue on them over the years. Makes them stiff and hateful to use. Yesterday I soaked one of them in water and vinegar. It got a lot of the Titebond type stuff enough to improve the strap. It did not touch what I believe to be Polyurethane (Gorilla) glue.
Is there anything that will reduce or remove the dried polyurethane stuff? Preferably without destroying the nylon strap.

If all else fails I would try freezing the straps and then flexing them while still frozen. That might chip away pieces of the glue.

Put in washing machine with your undies or jeans. This procedure removes white and yellow glue from my pants routinely.
