My shop/barn has vertical cedar siding. On the east side I have lots of dark stains up towards the overhang and the soffit is in the same condition. Tried this spray that attached to a hose where you spray, wait then rinse. No change.
I have done a scrubbing with hot water and Dawn and it works. But the shop is much taller and I really don't want to scrub it.
Anyone have some suggestions of a product that I can spray on then rinse that works?
Perhaps this super chlorinated product might do the job. I've used it on siding, aluminum trim, and painted surfaces with amazing results. Spray it on with a pump up sprayer and hose off.
The link is to Lowes page for 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner but other places carry it too.
I have used the 30 Second mold killer to clean all sorts of things. I made a mistake and bought 2 and a half gallon jug of it two years ago. I still have a little over 2 gallons.
I have a fiberglass paint roller handle that expands from 8 to 16 feet. I use a truck brush for scrubbing siding, but there are adjustable heads that could go on it just like a paint roller that could hold various scrubbers. Handle made by Structron in California. Pole has to be 30 years old and has come in handy repeatedly.
