New router?

A while back I posted about my 890 series router making noises. Turns out it is more than just the bearings.
As the PC 890 series router is no longer being made, parts aren’t inexpensive and are difficult to come by.
My usual adage about tools (and cars) is that when the cost of repair (and/or parts) exceeds 25% or more the cost of a new one, I really think about replacing tool (or car).
I don’t need a large router, I would prefer a medium power rather than a lower power. I am thinking about a DW618 kit with a fixed base and plunge base. They are also sold with a D handle.
Thoughts or recommendations?
