When I bought my Little Giant 17-ish years ago, the sales rep suggested using a light spray of Endust occasionally to keep things moving. I maybe did it once or twice, but I was a painting contractor at the time, and had more important things to worry about. It’s probably not as slick as it could be now, but I can operate it fine.

IF your ladder needs lubrication to move, there might be something wrong with it. If it lives outside and is corroded, those corrodes surfaces won't slide very well against each other.

Potentially some past wax, but you have to remember that anything you put on it could transfer to your hands and make them more slippery, which isn't a good thing on a ladder.

Start with soap and water.

After that, any dry lube.

I've used silicone spray. I think dry lube would work.

For the uninformed, liquid Teflon is usually labeled "PTFE" (polytetrafluoroethylene) on the spray can. It is often sold specifically for lubricating aluminum windows.
