OT Name of tool? Wrench???

Barry Irby

I am looking for the name of a tool used to take out a bolt that has a slightly recessed head. The head has two holes in it about a 1/4" apart. Something like the pliers you use to install/remove split rings. but very sturdy.

Any suggestions for the name of that tool? Could be something that fits on a socket wrench.

Maybe pin wrench:

Note hole diameter is the main spec.

Yes, thanks

The bolt looks like one of the two hole versions.

Now I know it's a Pin Wrench, or an Adjustable two hole pin wrench or spanner.

They have some at Harbor Freight. I can take the bolt with me and see if they have something that will work.

We use two Allen wrenches and a screw driver to hold it long enough to get the nut off. OK procedure for one but awkward for a bunch.

Did not realize there would be so many variations, Pin size and spacing. Thanks for the help/
