I usually use Freud bits but I see these cheaper Chinese bits, one brand Uxcell that's cheaper but how about the quality??

Dave's Not Here

If the quality was the same they would be priced alike.

Can't comment specifically on that brand... but the general idea I have read and typically follow is that cheap bits may be fine most times for single use applications. If you expect that you'd use that bit more than once or twice, I typically buy the better quality (higher priced) name brand bit.

The difference

... is in the accuracy of the machining, the runout, the sharpness and the quality of the carbide. That said, cheap bits can do the job, if not as perfectly as possible.
