Sell the Delta and the Hitachi and keep the Laguna.

Deltas with risers are like short guys wearing platform shoes.

Hitachi is not a bandsaw for someone concerned with the cost of blades.

From what I have heard, Laguna has the worst after sales service.

Too many bandsaws you say? Let me help you out of your quandary - you already know my address, but in this case I will save shipping and I am offering come pick it up! Just me know when it's convenient haha! This would be an upgrade to my 14" with riser that I never seem to get quite right.

If it were me I might keep the Laguna and sell the Delta. I know the Hitachi beast is a real re-saw machine, but I'd judge which of the other two is more versatile and capable (and easy to use), and sell the 3rd. I expect the answer is sell the Delta - but don't really know. Either should be quite saleable.

I'd keep the Laguna and Delta. Sell the Hitachi since it's just a toy with a tiny motor and an expensive wide blade that isn't really necessary for resawing. It takes a wild man to require a 3" blade when a 3/4" with skills will do the same thing.

I'd ditch the Delta; don't know that you can still get parts for it.

Delta probably sold more 14" bandsaws than all the other companies combined. eBay is filled with parts. No vintage machine parts are more available than the Delta 14" bandsaw. That design was knocked off by every Chinese and Taiwanese companies as well. The other advantage of that machine is that if it's running well when you buy one, there's a high likelihood you will never need parts. There are 70 year old machines running like the day they were made.

an LT16 for over 30 years. 2 years I had the motor rebuilt with new bearings and capacitor. I can't begin to estimate the amount of timber cut. I bought this machine to resaw for scrolling. I resaw 12" with a 3/8 4tpi hook tooth blade. I installed a Laguna drift master fence. One drawback with this saw it has a European sized miter slot which is shallower and wider than U.S. I didn't get a miter gauge with the machine. Made my own out of wood.

I have one that was made in 1948. When I bought it 15 years ago it needed tires and so I called Delta with the model and serial numbers. The lady said that wasn't a band saw model number but when I said it was an old one she looked up and found what I needed so I asked if she could tell the age by the s/n. I also got a copy of the proper parts list at that time. I use it for a short period every week and it works great for my needs.

I'm pretty sure if you tried that today your experience would be a LOT different. The Delta you refer to is no more. The last I knew Delta was owned by Change Type Machinery or something like that. Yes, Chinese/Taiwanese. Replacement parts for old Delta machines? Scrapped.
