Yes I Goggled it too and was amazed on the history of this piece and the company that made it. It also has the number 60 in black type on the back. I had also thought this piece was made by an independent maker and not a company till now. It needs a little work so I am going to restore it. Going to right the history up and store it with the piece for future generations. It belonged to my Mother’s Great Aunt Zilla. Her husband fought in the Civil War. Mom was 94 when she passed and I am now 65. I have no children and wonder what will happen to it when I pass? Thanks
