Yeaw I kno, laugh at ol SOUTHERN plow boy, but!!!

I just copied the names of the ??pie safe, cup board??

Amazed at the history that came on screen!!!!

Seems like the place has some history.

Born & raised 8 mi from nearest town, youngest of 6 sons. We got electricity in 1947. Pa built wooden truck bodies. He bought an electric drill to use on those truck bodies. I was 8 yrol. My brothers drilled holes for side bodies, I'd put 1/4'' carriage bolts in those holes, bang'm with hammer, put washer & nut on other end, outside one ov'm tighten'm. Anything Pa or my brothers thought I could do, I did! So I kinda grew up learning about Yellow pine. Frame of truck had a hump up over rear axle housing. Paw used a ?foot adze? to cut out a ?notch? in 4x6 so the 4x6 laid flat on frame & it extended past end of metal frame and a little more. It was all bolted/held/holed/down to the trucks metal frame with metal from a blacksmith shop. It laid across top of 4x6 and two long bolts reaching bottom of truck frame where another piece from blacksmith, but somewhat shorter, metal frame down there was a little narrower, Paw had smith to cut the bottom pices shorter, also with the holes for those 2 long bolts from top to go thru, with flat & lock washer and square nut(tighten with adjustable wrench). Years went by, some brothers left home, I got older, could drill holes, more time went by, Paw got older, quit building bodies, I wuz glad ov that. I helped do wood working around the community. Yes I Goggled it too and was amazed on the history of this piece and the company that made it. It also has the number 60 in black type on the back. I had also thought this piece was made by an independent maker and not a company till now. It needs a little work so I am going to restore it. Going to right the history up and store it with the piece for future generations. It belonged to my Mother’s Great Aunt Zilla. Her husband fought in the Civil War. Mom was 94 when she passed and I am now 65. I have no children and wonder what will happen to it when I pass? Thanks
