Granddaughter's desk

Bill Tindall, E.Tn.

Done except applying the finish. I hope she visits over spring break and she can do that job. (the center section will fasten between the verticals at the top)

She is quite exited about putting to use the desk she designed. It is modular so that it can be easily moved throughout her life.

Very nice indeed!

Can you explain the differences in top drawer treatment between the left and right pedestals, please. Is that a gap for a pullout surface on the left one?

Thanks,

Bill

That’s a really nice desk, Bill. Thanks for bringing us along with the construction.

It’s magic!

Wiley Horne

She draws a picture. The picture becomes cherry wood. With drawers. The moldings she wanted. The moldings are all tucked in so neat. And pullouts. And speaker housings.

A stunning result she will treasure forever.

Very nice. What finish will you have her apply?

And speaker housings. no, in her words "cubbies" with adjustable shelves.

Very nice! Very, very nice. Don't know about you but building stuff for grandkids is more rewarding than for other family members.
