Interesting router bit...

A friend knows I am interesting in wood working and bought m about twenty old router bits for $2. Thanks....I think...?
One of the appears to be a 1/4" Roll Pin that has been cut and opened/unrolled and turned into an Ogee bit. About a 1/4" of it was left rolled at the bottom to serve as a guide bushing. I have not tried it, but it appears to be a novel approach to making a router bit. Weird.

I've seen a couple of those at yard sales. Definitely consumer-grade.

This was in some auction stuff I bought. Credo brand--I think they're trying to out-cheezy Harbor Freight.

At first thought, scary; on second thought maybe not, it is probably soft, it will self destruct by becoming too bent to use. Might be safer than flying carbide, on the other hand your family or co-workers better have 911 on speed dial, you will probably be homicidal after trying to use it.

That picture is similar to the one I have. I see now that it is not a roll pin that has been unrolled, but something stamped out and part of it rolled up.
