Dust catchers
Buck Nall
Underneath/inside of my table saw I cobbled up a conical, with plywood.
Is as wide as room for it at top next to metal top of saw. 4 sides taper
down toward bottom bout 5'' from actual floor about 5'' sq. The side toward
the engine, at bottom, has a 4'' connection for dust pipe/tube/line that goes to/
joined/connected to a 5hs. dust collector. Power for 5hs is turned on with saw!!
Sure had to caulk around here and yonder so all the suction was as near/close
to saw blade as possible. Sure had to close off the motor and belts as well as possible.
Anywho with all said & done, have no dust from table saw.
NOW BAND SAW. Yes they are 1 gallon dust catchers!!!!!
I run the hose underneath the table where blade come thru,
split one side of pick up tube so it enclosed blade, rite under the table. Taped
that rascal in place. Attached electric so turning/power on/up saw
dust catcher come on. NO DUST IN SHOP from this!!!!
