Finished leveling my slabs....

Barry Irby

Used a router with a 1" bit in it and hundreds or maybe thousands of passes back and forth with my contraption. The two slabs for the top are fitted together but not glued. They total 40" wide and 7' long. The two pieces for the legs are close to 3' square. I cleaned the shop and bagged the sawdust. The two bags combined weigh a hundred pounds. There is probably a pound left hiding in nooks a crannies. Does this mean the shop is a 100 times cleaner?

I found that out....

I used the DC to vac up as much as I could and then got out the leaf blower and gave it a go. Both Ambient air cleaners running and a fan blowing out the door and then the leaf blower stirring things up. An amazing amount of dust. Some went outside in the rain and settled on my car which was at least thirty feet away.

Went back this morning and gave it another go. Had to blow off the outside of the garage door. One more shot at it and I think I can quit for a while.
