Vac Bag source??

Tom Norton

I have a few shop vacs and 1,a Rigid, I use a big in addition to the filter for a specific task. HD gets $15 for 2 and I go through a number of them each year.

Anyone have a source for GOOD quality bags?

Thanks!!

I just bought some on eBay, five for about $13. They're not Ridgid brand, but they look like good quality bags, although I haven't used one yet (probably in the next few days, though). These are replacements for VF3501 bags, which are for smaller vac units, so larger ones would probably be a bit higher, but I was finding about the same price you mentioned at HD. I can find a link if you want.

A Source and a Suggestion

Yonak

The Suggestion : I use thin, 1.2 MIL bags inside 4 MIL bags. I bought five 4 MIL bags and I still have four in the box. I go through 60 clear, 42 gal., 1.2 MIL bags a year.

The Source : On another dust collector, which doesn't get as much use, I use heavier bags I get from Targil, the spice company. I don't know how to tell if they're good quality but I've never had one break through and they maintain their shape.

Update on polybags from Targil

Yonak

I guess they must not sell these bags anymore as I went out to their store site and couldn't find them.
