Thunderbird and WIN 10 problems solved for $60

Found a Hippy computer Wizard that lives isolated in a small trailer up a remote hollow that despises the trend in not- any- longer "personal" computers as I do. He uses Thunderbird email and in short order he successfully moved email, seemingly as I had tried but obviously he had some wizard trick up his sleeve or in his wand.
And the evils of Dell and MS have been purged from the system by the touch of his wand, or something. The annoying crap is GONE.
Only a couple of hours on it but have encountered no annoyances so far. Turn it on and desk top promptly comes up looking simple like Win 7. YEA
No arcane passwords or pins to enter nor any links for account and Microsoft spying . Columns of extraneous crap GONE. It has returned to become my personal computer.
The Wizard mentioned he liked venison and a bonus was provided along with a more generous cash payment. He is now at work purging crap from a WIN 10 portable and when that is done there is some cleaning up to be done on my ancient WIN 7 machine. He showed me that crap was hogging 80% of the WIN 7 machine memory. Where did that come from.....who knows?
