Think of an inside "jungle gym" for toddlers.
Got a bunch of 1" oak dowel rods. Made the rails out of birch and the ramp and triangle sides out of ash.

two of the supports and a more robust scaffold board and it would be nice to paint off from.

I saw the price and said - wait a minute - I can build one cheaper than I could buy one. The grand niece is of an age to use it - and her cousin (3 month older) lives next door. From a search... "The Pikler Triangle was developed by Hungarian paediatrician, Dr Emmi Pikler over 100 years ago."

As the Grandfather of a 2 year old, I hate to say it but it looks like a leg breaker to me. It MUST work better than it looks to me like it would. I see lots of falls and kids hanging by their ankles. Clearly I am looking at it wrong or have forgotten how agile I was when I was not so old and decrepit. Don't get me wrong, I think you did a fine job building it, but....
