We're not totally out of the woods, but at least we seem to be functioning normally as far as posts go. I'm still not seeing our advertising banners on the boards yet, are you? There should be one at the top and bottom of the screen you're reading now and one at the left.

I'm using Linux Mint 19.3 and Firefox. I see advertising at the top, left side, and bottom. Looks pretty normal to me.

I was having trouble everywhere but they've all come back for unknown reasons. Now I see the ads on Win 10, Win 7 and Mac 10.15, in Chrome, Firefox and Safari, and Edge on the Win 10 box. You might have to reboot your browser. Some of our back end changes are in process as we speak.

DNS propagation

We recently began to secure our pages in response to several of you who were worried about the Not Secure sign in your address bar. Unfortunately, our messageboard scripts cannot be secured, at least not by mortal programmers, so the whole domain couldn't be secured, and we gave up and reverted all the changes that had been made to date. That reversion resulted in reassignment of DNS (the naming service that tells your browser where our pages live) back to the old http (not secure) pages.
Long story short, it takes a while for DNS to revert to your particular IP address and unless you're force-reloading the page, you may not be seeing the current page information. By now, all browsers and IPs should be back in order. Just force a page reload (look it up if you don't know how).
Sorry for the long wind. Probably more info than anyone might reasonably need. Hopefully it is correct, also.

I'm using Google chrome on an Android phone and I just see the SAPFM box and something about hand saws, both on the left edge of the screen.

Unless there's some miracle in the wings that will rewrite all the code that creates these boards.
We've never been able to deliver https pages for this reason, yet I know of no malware or infections or other mischief that has ever made trouble for any of our thousands of visitors. At least nobody has reported them. We had spam bots back in the early days, but those were essentially barricaded out about ten years ago.
