Trend in woodworking
Roy
I am curious about something I noticed while perusing a woodworking catalog. I see expensive Festool items. I see CNC machines. I see laser machines. I see multi-thousand dollar lathes. Sawstops pushing $3500. So it looks like woodworking is doing okay and a lot of people are investing in quality stuff. But when I look at the clamp section, where are the Bessey K-clamps? Wetzler clamps? Adjustable clamp co. clamps? How come the clamp industry seems to be in trouble even though every woodworker swears you can't have enough clamps? Does anybody have an answer to this situation where all the clamps seem to be of lower quality?
Just wondering.
