OT - eBay - Turbo Lister Program

Ralph Lipeles

I haven't listed anything for sale on eBay for quite some time. Yesterday I tried. I have always used the Turbo Lister program. It allows me to create ads at my convenience and upload them to eBay when I choose. It was also no cost. Apparently eBay no longer accepts Turbo Lister inputs. Any recommendations fro a replacement? I am hoping to find a system that does not charge me and has the flexability to create 6 to 8 ads and upload them when I choose.

You haven't listed anything in a long while. When Turbo went away, I used Ebay's seller tools, and they actually worked pretty well, but I haven't used them for a few years now. It was easy to keep track the status of all my auctions.

ebay with no start time or deferred

David Weaver

there are a lot of options in ebay now, including scheduling a later start time or deferring a listing and not finalizing it.

If you're going to sell things that are remotely similar, then you can do two things:

1) pick a listing you made before and then just change the title/price/picture/info as needed (may not be much)

2) find another listing that's what you're selling and find the button on the page that says "sell one like this". It'll literally be pre-filled except for pictures and description.

before covid, when I came up with too much stuff sitting around (which is all the time), I would list an item a day on the walk to the bus stop. The walk is only about 6 or 7 minutes and it never took longer than that to create a listing (and much less if an item was just another of something already listed or little different).
