Jointed the edges again.
Put one bow up and clamped the ends down on my table saw (with a sheet of plastic over the table saw). Put the other bow side down.
Glued up the joint and worked from the center outward.
I was able to get the center lined up w/ a lot of hand pressure.
Worked out towards the ends.
I have a straight slab!! Without a twist or bow!!

A generally useful technique

I don't flatten most of the boards I use in panel assemblies. If they are long they will usually be sufficiently flexible to assemble a flat panel by some variation of what you did. Obviously 4/4 lumber is easier to coax than 8/4 but one can resort to ever more robust coaxing. I one used a jack against the ceiling joists. The key is to do one joint at a time.
