replacement batteries

I need a spare battery for my Makita cordless drill but the big box store is asking too much money for new ones. I found some reasonably priced online. they are made by a company called Vanon. I'm just wondering if anyone here has tried those replacement batteries.

About 3 years ago, I needed replacement batteries for an old Dewalt flashlight. Found the best price at the local Batteries and More franchise.

Just replaced my makita 18 volt batteries from eBay. Seller was I save. My makita is a model lxfd01. I replaced the 2ah with 5 ah BL1850-2pack for $90.90, with free shipping. I have charged them only a few times, great power. Paul

If your battery has screws on it so it can be taken apart, you can usually find a local place or Interstate batteries, or batteries plus to put in new batteries.

I used to get all my battery packs refreshed with new cells when they were shot. It worked out to about half the price of a new pack from the manufacturer. I also tried generic batteries but found that they didn't last. I'd beware of cheapo replacements.

got new factory replacements

I will look into renewing batteries when one of mine loses power. For now I need additional batteries because I have multiple devices and not enough batteries to go around. I noticed on google search home depot has a deal on makita batteries that is not hard to take so I bought factory batteries. When I looked in my local HD store the only thing they had was a single battery for $169 Thanks for the advice.

I've bought the battery cells on line and did the replacement myself.
