Matching red oak boards
Johanna Johanson
I now have 43 inch long boards of red oak all over the shop. It's easy to match two and glue them together because they came from the same original board. BUT . . . finding four that make a pleasing arrangement (actually two sets of four boards) is making me crazy. I just keep trying - flipping boards end for end, turning them over, rearranging the order and so on. I really have to make up my mind and get started on glue-up!
