John......one of my major reasons, for getting involved with woodworking and continuing to work at it, is that I realized that the mental and physical challenges of woodworking would help me keep my mind active and help me to age well.
This gentleman is an example of that. Thanks for posting.

Al is 100+ but after a broken hip he is a bit limited on what he can do in the shop but not for lack of desire.

He once told me he worked out in the open (open garage?) and that passers by would stop and chat while he worked. That would be nice. And probably inspiration to a few kids in the neighborhood.

I can't remember any details of his work area for certain. I was there just once nearly 20 years ago dropping off a piece that was going to a woodworking show. This is his house and that is almost certainly his shop area off to the left perhaps subsuming some of the garage area. Ain't the Interwebs wonderful?
