I have been using my vice and hand screw. It does work and it is fairly quick. If I raise the board up to where it is wiggly I back it with another and clamp the two together.

Since building a Klaus bench perhaps 12 years ago, I thought a shoulder vise was the ultimate for marking and sawing dovetails. But it does keep the work a bit closer to the ground than sometimes my back would like.

Maybe I can rationalize not building AN ULTIMATE MOXON VISE because "there ain't no jarrah in Ohio." And I don't know Down Under mutterings to use when the saw cuts where I point it and not where I want it to cut.

I would like to share with the woodworking teacher at the Waldorf school nearby - any plans to add this final Moxon to "In The Woodshop?"
