135 degree dovetails....good enough

I must say I have had a time getting this dovetail perfected. I have marked it wrong, sawed it wrong, and worst, it has taken several tries to figure out the critical variables to fix joints that were too tight or too sloppy or gappy on one side or the other, that latter problem being the last and most difficult to figure out. Somehow having things at 45 degrees different from what I am used to led to mental anguish. Referencing off points is a lot harder than flat surfaces.
When all was said and done I made a gauge block to mark the base lines, PIC 1 and 2.
Practice joints are good enough to proceed with making a drawer. The outside part of the joint that no one will ever see remains short of perfect but the inside is better. I think assembling a perfect joint could be difficult or impossible. This joint has a huge mating surface that multiplies friction and there is nothing orthogonal to bash on or clamp to pull the joint together. Liquid hide will be a must on this assembly.
