Small Bench

>Here is a small bench I created for our bathroom. It was not designed for heavy duty use. It will get used to hold a towel or briefly to put on a pair of sox. The top is walnut and maple. The legs Cherry. I sort of threw it together on a weekend with wood in the scrap bin. The colors worked well with Watco and Minwax wipe on Poly finish.
I got the leg idea from a show David Marks did a while ago. I thought about carving out the top of the seat, but glad I didn't after watching ABC's Extreme Makeover. On the show one of the designers removed the guard on a chain saw grinder and accidently put it into his hand. It made quite a mess.
