Moisture Meters

>I just bought about 200 board feet of cherry and I think it's time to pick up a good moisture meter.
Any reccomendations? I know Wagner makes a bunch but I can't really see much difference other than the Pin vs Pinless distinction.

I have a mini Ligno / pins, that I have had for many years, and was happy with it. I thought I had lost it, so I bought a wagner L609 pinless.
It is nice to not have to worry about pin holes, and you can slide it around without lifting it to get an idea if the drying is uniform, and it measures down for about 1/2" which is nice, but like most things, a gain in one area has a trade-off in another. It will not give a good reading on a sheet of veneer.

A couple of questions, if you don't mind?
1. Using the pinned and pinless meters on the same board, do you get the same reading?
2. How aobut the pinless on a rough-sawn board? Do you get the same reading as with the pinned tester?

I thought I had lost the ligno, and only found it a few days ago, and have not had tiime to make any comparisons yet.
